Paddlers of diverse and colorful kayaks and canoes pull ashore at a rest stop along the route of the 2006 Mississippi River Challenge. The Mississippi River Challenge is a two-day, 44-mile paddle to support the river protection work of Friends of the Mississippi River. A 1-day, 22-mile route is also an option.
Registration is now open for the 2007 Mississippi River Challenge, which promises to be an exciting and rewarding event. Sign up to paddle or volunteer to help with the event and experience a whole new Mississippi River!
Find out more about the event at the Mississippi River Challenge web site. We’ll see you on the River!
