Take action: The Minnesota Nutrient Reduction Strategy

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency recently released its Minnesota Nutrient Reduction Strategy. The document highlights Minnesotas strategy for ultimately achieving long-term nutrient pollution reductions, including a 45% reduction in our share of excess nutrient pollution to the Gulf of Mexico by 2045.

Unfortunately, the draft strategy has a number of serious flaws and relies almost solely on voluntary programs that have proven ineffective for decades.

Please take action to help us tell the state to revise the strategy and make sure Minnesota does our part to clean up the nations waters.

Act now to tell the MPCA to make much needed improvements to this plan. Its fast, simple, and you can be done in just a few minutes!
