Thank you FMR volunteers

We recently wrapped up another successful volunteer season! We are pleased to report that overall, approximately 1,903 people contributed 5,385 hours to help the Mississippi River at FMR events in 2013. Additionally, 1,368 people attended workshops and presentations to inform advocacy work and lifestyle choices.

From removing invasive species, to installing native plants, to attending water quality workshops, we are incredibly grateful for the hours our volunteers dedicate to improving the environment. Were continually inspired by these individuals, families and groups who take time out of their busy schedules to help the river we all love.

See our volunteers in action, as well as many of the beautiful places they help protect in this Best Of album of our favorite 2013 restoration event pictures!
