Duties: Directs all fundraising and organizational development activities.

Education: Bachelor’s degree, Carleton College, master’s degree in Philanthropy & Development, Saint Mary’s University. Also Fundraising Certificate, University of St. Thomas.

Professional experience: Development Director, SteppingStone Theater for Youth Development; admissions office staff at Minneapolis College of Art and Design; development associate, United Arts.

FMR accomplishment most proud of: The growth of FMR’s programs and scope, and the expansion of community-based stewardship of the river. Also the Mississippi River Challenge, because “it’s such a good fit with our mission — we’re getting people out there to experience what they are raising money to protect.”

Hobbies: Gardening, cooking, performances (music, theatre, art)

Pets: Two huskies “that have helped me to enjoy Minnesota winters.”
