I'd like to visit a raingarden!

There are a number of locations to see raingardens in and around the Twin Cities. 

A few Minneapolis raingardens

Sheridan Memorial Park at 1300 Water St. NE. See photos from our volunteer events planting and tending this raingarden. 

-In the Marcy Holmes Neighborhood:
— on the northeast corner of S.E. 14th Ave and S.E. 7th St.
— 1205 S.E. 7th St. (*note* this is a private residence)
— 515 7th Ave S.E. (*note* this is a private residence)
— north corner of S.E. 4th St. and 8th Ave. S.E.
-At Kwanzaa Community Church, 2100 Emerson Ave. N.
-At El Colegio Charter School, 4137 Bloomington Ave. S.
-At the Green Institute/Greenspace Partners near the intersection of 21st Ave. S. & S. 28th St.

A few St. Paul raingardens

-In Como Park at the intersection of Lexington Pkwy and Nebraska Ave
-In Lower Phalen at 725 E 7th St
-At the intersections of:
• McKinley and Pascal,
• McKinley and Arlington,
• McKinley and Frankson,
• Frankson and Asbury,
• Hamline and Midway Parkway

Surrounding areas

• In Chanhassen, the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum has a display raingarden ringing the edge of the visitor parking lot.  While there, a great landscape walk awaits you--Adults (16 years and older) should be prepared to pay a $7.00 entrance fee. Children and members get in free. The entrance fee is waived Thursdays after 4:30 p.m.
• In Burnsville, raingardens can be seen on Rushmore Dr. between Chicago Avenue and Southwind Drive. These are private residences that were part of the Burnsville Rainwater Garden Project.
• The city of Maplewood has several rainwater garden project areas.
