We're almost there: Help us earn the full match!

Thanks to several generous FMR donors who have put up a challenge to encourage all of you to make FMR one of the organizations you give to this season, we could leverage an extra $25,000 for the river. There are several ways you can help us earn this match, but first, let's consider what an extra $25,000 will do for the river:

  • It will enable us to present the State of the River Report to thousands more people in 2013, which means greater awareness of the issues facing the river and more advocates to raise the volume of the river's voice.
  • It will enable us to reach out to more landowners and help us permanently protect and restore more habitat.
  • It will help us increase outreach into neighborhoods that have long been disconnected from their river, improve habitat in and encourage use of riverfront parks, and increase public access to the river.
  • It will provide support for our efforts to advocate for stronger water quality policies at the Minnesota Legislature.
  • It will allow us to be even more strategic, innovative and creative in our approach to the issues facing your river and your community as we move into 2013, our 20th anniversary year.

Here are the ways you can help FMR earn the dollar-for-dollar challenge gift:

  • If you're renewing your membership before December 31st, any increase over last year's amount helps earn matching funds.
  • If you've already renewed your membership this year, an additional gift before December 31st helps earn matching funds.
  • If youre not yet an FMR member, your new membership contribution earns matching funds.
  • And, last but not least, gift memberships not only help spread the word about the work we do for the river and engage more people in our programs, they also help earn matching funds! It will take the generosity of many to earn the full $25,000. Please visit our donation page today and help FMR earn an extra $25,000 for your river and your community! Thank you!
