Working to protect the Mississippi River and its watershed in the Twin Cities area
FMR and Dodge Nature Center present a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear master storyteller, weathered woodsman, and river guide Kenny Salwey unravel the mysteries of life on the Mississippi river. His stories will blend his gentle philosophy of nature with folksy humor, spiced with woods lore. Kenny’s life captured on film in the one hour Emmy Award-winning Mississippi: Tales of the Last River Rat will follow his storytelling presentation.
The storytelling portion of this presentation will take place outside, weather permitting. Bring your own blanket to sit on or folding chairs if you choose.
Admission is $5-$7 for adults and children 2 and up, or $20 for families. Pre-registration is recommended. Register at DodgeNatureCenter.org.
Meet at the Farm Entrance.
