On Earth Day 2007, Wishes for the Sky will capture imaginations and engage communities in an event of public art honoring Earth Day. Inspired by ancient Asian traditions of flying wishes on kites, the project will ask audiences to send 1000 kites to the sky to create a beautiful affirmation of the power of wishing.
