FMR Conservation Map

FMR's Land Conservation program works with landowners, government agencies and concerned community members — including hundreds of volunteers — to protect and restore bluffs, prairies, forests and other lands important to our communities and the health of our metro Mississippi.

We improve habitat, water quality, climate resilience and the river's ecological functions through technical assistance, management planning, land protection and applied habitat restoration.

Our ecologists manage over 40 active restoration sites throughout the metro area. Explore the map below to learn more or check out our special places features.

Most of our work takes place on Dakota homelands.
